Suttabaazi

Suttabaazi

Sushmita Sen's elder daughter Renee Sen has stepped into showbiz using Kabeer Khurana's short movie titled Suttabaazi.

Shot inside the bounds of four partitions, Suttabaazi revolves round the Kumar family. Diya Kumar (Renee) is a Instagram influencer along with a covert smoker. The adolescent is worried about her followers around the Facebook-owned photo-sharing program than attending online courses.

Her mum is a nagging housewife who would like to begin her very own Hindi tuition courses amid the lockdown. However, Diya's dad brings down her by saying unkind things. While you will forecast that Diya's parents are going to learn about her habit of smoking covertly, a spin has been introduced in the second half of the movie.

Suttabaazi enables the actors to shine. Director Kabeer, who's also written the movie, has done an adequate job. On the other hand, the issue lies with the length and the concepts he attempts to fit in only 13 minutes. Societal problems such as smoking cause cancer, women should be permitted to pursue their fantasies, production gap and how smoking may actually bridge the difference between a parent and child are emphasized. However, every of them had more room to breathe and depart from an effect. Suttabaazi neither hurts nor participates. It attempts to bite more than it could chew.

Renee, as Diya Kumar, reveals commendable maturity. It's not easy to feel that she's only beginning off her acting career. The young actress exudes cool beats and it's a joy to see her perform. It's an unconventional introduction of Renee and we're eager to find out what she chooses up alongside the 70mm. Komal performs well and can be a surprise package. Rahul shines at a super short function. Director of Photography Chehek Bilgi does a nice job Together with music director Sooraj Bishnoi.

In brief, Suttabaazi could have been a dazzling watch had the length been more. Maintaining the defects apart, Suttabaazi is a commendable attempt by a group of kids that are exploring the craft of filmmaking.
